How to Configure Gong to Send Competitor Mentions to Kompyte

Centralize conversations that mention competitors to help uncover valuable insights into their tactics, strengths, and weaknesses

To get started, follow these steps:

Using InMail:

From Kompyte:

  1. Log in to your Kompyte account and go Settings -> General Settings

  2. Activate the InMail feature

  3. Add Gong.io as an accepted domain and copy your unique Kompyte InMail address (*below is an example address but be sure to copy the specific address associated with your account)

From Gong:

  1. Log in to your Gong account and go to Settings

  2. Click on the Alerts tab and select Create Alert

  3. Choose Competitor Mentions as the alert type

  4. Customize the alert settings to match your preferences, such as the frequency of alerts and the specific competitors you want to track

  5. Add your unique Kompyte InMail address to the Gong distribution list to receive the alerts via email

  6. Save your alert settings

Once you've set up your alert, Gong will automatically send recordings of conversations that mention your competitors to your Kompyte account as a team insight.
