Embed presentations and view them directly in Kompyte to enhance the user experience and effectiveness of Battlecards and reports.
Below are the steps to embed presentations seamlessly in Kompyte.
First, locate and obtain the embed code of the presentation file you wish to embed.
How to obtain the embed code from Google Drive
Navigate to the file from Google Drive and click on the "File" option in the menu bar at the top
Select "Share" from the dropdown menu
Choose "Publish to Web" from the sharing options
In the "Publish to the web" dialog box, navigate to the "Embed" tab
Select the desired slide size for your embedded presentation
Click on the "Publish" button in the "Publish to the web" dialog box
After publishing, a unique embed code will be generated
Copy the embed code provided after publishing the presentation
How to obtain the embed code from MS OneDrive
Navigate to file from Microsoft OneDrive
At the top of the page, you will see a toolbar with various options. Click on the "Embed" button
A dialog box will appear, showing you the embed code for your presentation. You can customize the display options by clicking on the "Customize" button, if available
Copy the embed code provided
Return to the Kompyte Platform and drill into the specific Report or Battlecard you want to embed the presentation into.
Click Add Widget from the top right corner.
Select Curated Traits.
Search and select an existing curated trait or create a new trait by clicking Create a trait, entering a trait name and clicking Done.
Next embed the presentation.
From the curated trait box, enable edit mode by clicking on the pencil icon.
In edit mode, navigate to the tools section and select the Embed HTML option.
Paste the embed code into the embed field, click Insert, then Save and Close.
The presentation is now embedded and can be opened directly from your Battlecard or report as shown below.
