Kompyte’s Time Machine lets you revisit and compare previous versions of a competitor’s webpage. Use it to analyze how messaging, imagery and design evolve over time and spot meaningful shifts faster.
Access the Time Machine from the Collect feed. Open a website change and click Show Details to view earlier versions side by side.
From within the website change before/after screen, click on the clock icon next to the date range.
A date marked with a turquoise dot shows the page changed that day. Click any turquoise dot to preview that version, then click Apply to load it.
Use the back arrow to move further back in time and review older versions of the page.
You can also access Time Machine from Settings. Open a competitor’s list of tracked webpages and select the specific URL you want to review. This works well when you know exactly which page you want to analyze.
The Time Machine lets you go back up to one year as long as Kompyte has tracked that webpage for the full year. It cannot show changes from before tracking began.
