Welcome message can be set at a Global level and at a Template level.

The Welcome message at a Global level is going to be displayed once the user lands in the consumer portal, whether they access the portal home page or any given Battlecard through a direct link.

The Welcome message at a Template level is going to be displayed once the user accesses a specific Battlecard, whether through navigating the consumer portal through a direct link.

What if the user is meant to see the Global and the Template level Welcome message at the same time?

In the situation where a user is meant to see both Global and Template level Welcome messages, they will first see the Global one and once they close the Global one, then they will see the Template message.

Note this situation can only happen if the user accesses a Battlecard through a direct link and at that time there are both Global and Template level Welcome messages in place.

Both Global and Template messages are set the same way, admins can set both a Title, Description - which may contain text, images, links, tables, attachments and more.

To get started with a template level welcome message:
1. Navigate to the Battlecards section in the platform.

2. Drill into a specific Battlecard template and click on the 3 dots in the top right corner.

3. Select Welcome Message from the dropdown list.

4. From here, add a Title and a configurable welcome message or instructions for each Battlecard template.

In addition to adding text, there are options for including links (such as the link to downloading the Kompyte Chrome extension), files from Google Drive or MS OneDrive, and uploading supporting documentation or videos as you see fit.

5. Next set the message to show once or always and click Save.

*With the once option, you have the ability to reset the user list so it will show the next time if you wish to reset the user list each month or quarter.

6. The welcome message is now visible to Battlecard consumers as shown below in the Consumer portal and CRM integrations you have enabled.

To get started with a global message navigate to the battlecard tab in the user/admin portal

Then click the "edit welcome message" option

You can now repeat steps 4-6 to create a global welcome message.
