Kompyte's Monthly Top Posts report highlights the posts with the highest Impact Score, helping you discover topics that drive strong engagement and inspire your own content strategy.

Our Impact Score is a proprietary metric that measures how a competitor’s post performs relative to their other posts. It’s designed to identify content that truly stands out, while removing the influence of community size.

To calculate the Impact Score, we track engagements across multiple posts for each channel including Blog, LinkedIn and YouTube. Each competitor’s channel is evaluated independently, providing an accurate picture of performance within that specific field. We then compare each post’s engagement to the channel average to determine its Impact. The result is presented as a multiplier, showing, for example, that a post performs 6.2 times better than the channel average.

Here's what you need to know:

An Impact score below 1x means the post is performing below average.

An Impact score of 1x means the post is performing at the average level.

An Impact score above 1x means the post is performing better than average. The higher the multiplier, the stronger the performance compared to typical posts.

An Impact score above 5x often indicates the post may have been promoted through paid boosting, which is why you may see a $ symbol in the top right corner.
