Depending on your edition, you have one or more of the following tools within your platform:
Competitor Research
All editions include access to Competitor Research, which provides a high-level overview of the competitors you are currently tracking, as well as the option to add potential new competitors.
You can search, filter, and sort your competitors. Â You also have the option to view as a list or sorted by group.
The Competitor Detector tool allows you to easily identify and add companies that you may wish to begin tracking. Â These may be new competitors in your space or companies who are targeting similar customers. Â To add a company from this list, just click Add. Â You can also dismiss any companies that appear by clicking the trashcan icon. Â
If your edition includes Search Marketing, youâll also be able to view a snapshot of your competitorsâ SEO/SEM competitiveness.
Keyword Research
For editions that include Search Marketing, your platform includes a Keyword Research tool to manage the keywords you are tracking. Â Included are performance metrics for each keyword you are currently tracking, the ability to add or remove keywords, and a keyword detector to identify keywords you may want to start tracking. Â
To add new keywords, just click the Add button in the upper right corner. Â Select the search engine you wish to use for tracking, input the keywords you want to begin tracking, and click Confirm to save. Â Weâll begin gathering data for these keywords over the next few days. Â (Note: if you are unable to add new keywords, you may have reached your account limit. Â Reach out to your Customer Success Manager if you would like to increase your keyword limit.) Â To delete keywords, just click the X.
Clicking on a keyword will provide additional details about which companies are ranking organically or running ads for that particular keyword, as well as your own rank.
Clicking on the number in the SERPS column will provide more information about a competitorâs organic performance for that particular keyword. Â Youâll be able to see the landing page(s) that are ranking and also have the option to begin tracking website changes for that landing page. Â
If a company is running paid campaigns for the keyword, you will see a colored dot in the CAMPAIGNS column. Â Clicking the dot will display the ad copy detected over time for that competitorâs paid campaigns.
From the main Keyword Research view, you can click on the Keyword Research button to view/add keywords you may wish to begin tracking. Â Youâll be able to see the same metrics we provide for your tracked keywords to help you determine if you should start tracking them. Â To do so, just click the Add button and you will be able to include these keywords in your reports. Â
To streamline your keyword research and reporting further, you can also group your keywords. Â To a keyword/keywords to a group, select the checkbox(es) to the left and click Manage group/s
Next, select the group(s) youâd like to add the keyword(s) to and click Apply. Â You can also click Add to a new group to create a new keyword grouping.
Battlecard Analytics
For Sales Enablement editions, Battlecard Analytics are included to usage data for your sales battlecards. Â You can adjust the time frame to analyze by clicking on the dates in the upper right corner.
Total Views
The total count of battlecard views is displayed. Â Hovering over the graph will provide daily view counts.
Unique Views
Unique Views will display overall and daily view metrics by unique users.
Suggestions
An overall and daily count of suggestions submitted by your sales team is summarized here.
Most Active Users
View and visit counts, as well as last access dates are provided for all active users. Â This information is helpful in measuring individual rep performance against their usage of battlecards.
Most Checked Competitors
How often your sales reps check your competitorsâ battlecards provides a quick view of who they are coming up against most frequently.
Most Checked Battlecards
You can see which battlecards are most frequently used by your sales team.
